The government of Iceland has announced new restrictions that will come into force at midnight on the 25th of July 2021. These restrictions will affect both our tour- and driving instructing department.
Restrictions on tours:
- The 1-meter rule has now been put back into force, which means that some seats in our vehicles will be closed off for passengers to maintain a distance between people who are not connected. People who are connected (families, couples etc.) are still allowed to sit together. This also means that when walking at attractions and entering and exiting the vehicles, everyone must keep a 1-meter distance between each other.
- The use of masks has now been made obligatory again. Masks must be used if it is not possible to keep a 1-meter distance or if people are in an enclosed space, such as vehicles. That means that whenever passengers, drivers and guides are on board our vehicles, they must use face masks. Passengers who refuse to wear masks properly or refuse to wear masks at all will be denied boarding.
- Passengers must sanitise their hands every time they enter our vehicles. Sanitiser is provided.
- Passengers with the slightest COVID 19 symptoms, passengers in quarantine and passengers in isolation with COVID 19 are under no circumstances allowed to join a tour with us.
